Suzuki unveiled its first ever 4×4 all-electric SUV, named eVX at the Indian Auto Show.
Suzuki’s President Toshihiro Suzuki was delighted to launch their first ever fully-electric vehicle, The eVX is one of Suzuki’s strategic steps to address global warming issues and measures in order to reduce carbon footprint.
Currently, in its concept phase, the new electric SUV eVX is designed with Suzuki’s SUV DNA, as well as well-known for sleek and bold body lines and curves. Suzuki claims that the eVX will boast some of the most advanced features currently available in battery electric vehicles (BEV)
The eVX concept will be Suzuki’s largest SUV, with an overall length of 4 300 mm, 1 800 mm of width, and a height of 1 600 mm, making it slightly larger than the current-generation Suzuki Vitara.
The eVX will join Suzuki’s popular SUV lineup in 2025, along with a new Suzuki Vitara powered by both a conventional internal combustion engine and a hybrid powertrain.
As far as its performance and ability, Suzuki aims for an electric-only driving range of about 550km all thanks to its 60-kWh battery paired with electric motors.
