The spirit of adventure has officially arrived in South Africa with the launch of the Jetour T-Series, a bold new SUV lineup designed to blend rugged performance with refined comfort. Officially unveiled at Cape Town’s Grand Parade, the event marked a major milestone for Jetour South Africa, introducing two exciting new models, the Jetour T1 and Jetour T2.
A Grand Launch in Cape Town
The launch event, attended by media, dealer partners, and key stakeholders, showcased Jetour’s brand philosophy, “Travel+,” which embodies innovation, exploration, and lifestyle-driven motoring.
“Since Jetour first entered the South African market last year, there’s been incredible anticipation for the T-Series,” said Campbell. “We’re thrilled to launch both the T1 and T2 simultaneously models that redefine what South Africans expect from affordable SUVs: premium design, high-end features, and a commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction.
Both models will officially go on sale in mid-November 2025 across 55 Jetour dealerships in Southern Africa.
Jetour T1
The Jetour T1 is the smaller of the two, crafted for urban explorers who crave versatility without compromising on performance. Available in four trims, T1 Edge, T1 Aspire, T1 Xplora, and T1 Odyssey, the T1 lineup caters to a wide range of driving needs.

Powertrain & Performance
Under the bonnet, Jetour offers two engines to choose from: a 1.5TD engine (125kW), and a 2.0TD engine (180kW). Both engines are paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Xplora and Odyssey models also include Jetour’s intelligent XWD 4-wheel-drive system, high ground clearance, and eight selectable driving modes, including Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, and X-Mode, ensuring performance across varying terrain.

Jetour T2
