The All-New Volkswagen Tayron Now Available for Pre-Order in South Africa
Volkswagen South Africa has officially opened pre-orders for the all-new Volkswagen Tayron, following its highly anticipated debut at the VW Indaba earlier this year. Positioned between the Tiguan and the flagship Touareg, the Tayron is a premium 7-seater SUV that brings together comfort, cutting-edge technology, and advanced safety systems.
Exterior and Interior Specifications
Measuring 4.79 metres in length, the new Tayron features a bold SUV design with clean lines and sharp detailing. Standard design highlights include LED headlights, a full-length rear LED light bar, and illuminated Volkswagen badges front and rear.
Inside, the cabin is finished with high-quality materials such as ArtVelours Eco microfibre and illuminated dash and door trims, depending on the trim level.
The new Tayron comes in 3 Trim Levels: Tayron, Life, and R-Line
Customers can choose from three distinct equipment lines:
• Tayron (Base 5-Seater): Offers Eco LED headlights, Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, and 18-inch Bologna alloy wheels.
• Tayron Life: Adds extra comfort and tech with features like nine airbags, three-zone automatic climate control, 10-colour ambient lighting, 32cm infotainment display, App-Connect Wireless (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto), digital instrument cluster, and 3D LED taillights.
• Tayron R-Line: The sportiest of the trio, featuring a unique R-Line front bumper, LED Plus headlights, Varenna leather seats with R-Line logo, ergoActive massage seats, heated front seats, 30-colour ambient lighting, and 19-inch Coventry alloy wheels.

Across the range, the Tayron is equipped with advanced features such as:
