Opel has officially unveiled the next-generation Grandland, an impressive and versatile SUV designed to make a mark in the South African family crossover market. With a sleek design and advanced technologies, the new Grandland aims to attract consumers looking for a blend of style and practicality.

Exterior and Design Upgrades
The all-new Opel Grandland showcases several design elements first introduced in the Opel Experimental concept car. Key highlights include the eye-catching 3D Vizor, which features an illuminated Griffin logo prominently displayed at the center, and distinctive “OPEL” lettering at the rear.
The vehicle also boasts the cutting-edge Intelli-Lux Pixel HD lighting system, equipped with over 50,000 individual elements to enhance visibility while driving.
Compared to its predecessor, the new Grandland has gained 173mm in length, 19mm in height, and 64mm in width, resulting in a more confident stance that captivates from exterior look. Now complemented by bold 19-inch alloy wheels.





Interior
Inside, the Grandland offers a roomy and thoughtfully designed cabin. With the rear seats down (60:40 split), the load space expands to an impressive 1,645 liters, and even with the seats up, there’s a generous 550 liters of cargo capacity an increase of 36 liters from the previous model.
The new Grandland boasts an inviting atmosphere, featuring a horizontal design that enhances the sense of space. The centerpiece is a 16-inch digital display, alongside a driver-focused cockpit, compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Comfort and Safety
The Grandland is not just about comfort; it also integrates advanced technology designed for a superior driving experience. The innovative frequency selective damping system adapts to various road conditions, providing both comfort and sporty handling. Furthermore, an extensive range of driver assistance systems enhances safety, including Automatic Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, and advanced parking aids.
On the safety front, the Grandland comes kitted with both front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera with automatic cleaning function and the 360-degree park assist view.
Powertrain and Performance
Under the bonnet, the new Opel Grandland comes powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 134kW and 240Nm. With a claimed fuel consumption 7.0 l/100km, and possibly to see figures dropping as low as 5.3l /100km on open roads.

Price and aftersales
The Opel Grandland GS Line 1,6T AT will retail for R789,900.00 incl. VAT.
This price includes a 5-year/100,000 km warranty, roadside assistance, and a 12-year unlimited km anticorrosion with service intervals every 12 months or 15,000 km, covered for the first five years.
