OMODA & JAECOO South Africa posted strong sales growth in 2025, reinforcing the brand’s rapid rise in the local SUV market.
Total annual sales increased from 5,097 units in 2024 to 12,597 vehicles in 2025, marking a 147% year-on-year improvement. The growth was driven by higher brand awareness, consistent consumer demand, and an expanding model range that now includes hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
Sales momentum built steadily over the two-year period, with monthly volumes rising from 222 units in January 2024 to 1,317 units by December 2025.

Key contributors included strong gains from the OMODA C5, OMODA C9, and JAECOO J7. The OMODA C5 remained the brand’s best-selling model, with 11,738 units sold across 2024 and 2025, while the newly launched JAECOO J5 achieved 1,062 sales in its first year on the market.
November proved to be the strongest sales month in both years, underlining consistent end-of-year demand.

Looking ahead, OMODA & JAECOO South Africa plans to further expand its offering with additional models and powertrain options. Upcoming hybrid variants of the C5 and J5 are expected to play a role in sustaining growth, as demand for electrified vehicles continues to increase in the local market.
